Our school nurtures the talent and skills of each individual student in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment. Our History

2006

Our school was founded as "Colegio Tagus" (Tagus School) with an innovative educational proposal in the city of Toledo: it was the first private bilingual school in the region.

2009

Opening of Tagus School's brand new, modern, premium facilities.

2010

New state-of-the-art sports facilities are inaugurated, including an athletics track, an outdoor swimming pool and a football pitch.

2012

Tagus School joins the well-respected San Patricio schools, with over 60 years of excellence and success in education in Spain. Tagus School is rebranded to International School San Patricio Toledo (ISSPT).

2015

The school is authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) © International Baccalaureate Organization to be one of the few schools in the world to officially offer the IB Continuum through the PYP, MYP and DP programmes.

2016

ISSPT Boarding House opens, and our school begins to offer places for day and boarding students.

2017

2018

Our school hosts the 49th edition of the International Model European Parliament (MEP)

2019

International School San Patricio Toledo joins Inspired Education, the leading global group of premium schools.

Opening of our innovative indoor triathlon centre for students on campus, one of the very few of its kind in the country.

2022

A perfect score of 45/45 is achieved by one of our talented students in the final IB Diploma Programme examinations © International Baccalaureate Organization 2024.

International School San Patricio Toledo is one of the few schools in the world to offer the IB Continuum, the complete International Baccalaureate programmes from 3 to 18 years, spanning the Primary Years (PYP), the Middle Years (MYP), and the globally-recognised IB Diploma (IBDP) © International Baccalaureate Organization. For our 1 and 2-year-olds in Nursery School, we provide an engaging Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum for a holistic learning experience and development.
